In Ladurns “lies” the dragon called “HINKER”. The hiking path also runs along its south-east side, the so-called “Hinkerboden”. Silence speaks at this place. Be especially attentive when you are there, observe nature. Your heart will be blessed with joy. This will allow you to dive even deeper into the beauty of its energy.
At the “Lotterscharte” junction, it is worth taking a short detour of about 10 mins to a scenic viewpoint. There you have the opportunity to look Hinker in the eye…

Kashi and the dragon Hinker
Hinker is a very friendly dragon, and he lives in Ladurns, where he sleeps most of the time. His task is to collect the light of the sun and moon, together with the dwarves, elves and fairies, and to distribute this power in nature. Dragons are protectors of plants and stones and provide pure air and fresh water. With their caressing, fiery breath they give all creatures the strength to grow.
Not so long ago, a child named Kashi was walking along this ridge. Kashi has a big glowing heart and loves nature very much.
Suddenly the ground beneath her feet begins to tremble slightly, a mighty yet gentle rumble sounds across the landscape. A warm breeze caresses her face. What could this be? With a queasy feeling and great attentiveness, Kashi approaches the ridge, her heart pounding loudly! She touches the ground with her hands. Deep in her heart, she senses that it must be something wonderful. And suddenly she sees it, yes, she is actually standing in front of a beautiful dragon, which is becoming more and more noticeable.
In a hesitant voice, she asks softly, “Who are you?” Still somewhat dazed from its long sleep, the dragon first coughs three small clouds of fire into the air. Then he murmurs: “I am Hinker. You have awakened me with your love, and I’m very grateful to you because it is time again to bestow my power and light upon the world. I will also need your help.” At this moment, Hinker exudes a shower of gold mist, which magically begins to shine in Kashi’s hair. Kashi feels a little more secure on her feet again and answers: “How can I help you? After all, I’m just a child!”
Hinker lowers his head closer to Kashi and says in a deep, soft voice:
“Because through your love, the world begins to shine, and everyone who touches me with love will be blessed with happiness.”
You can also lovingly ask Hinker for his fiery power. This is his gift to all living beings. To use this power for the benefit of all is your gift to the earth.
Wastenegg
The highest point of the path, from where you can see the dragon Hinker particularly well from its right side, allows you to experience purity, brilliance and togetherness. Starlight touches the ground. Here cosmic forces flow into the earth, that bring transformation to the landscape and human beings.
